The Zoo - Its been ages since i went to the zoo..i reckon about 12-13 years ago..so since my cousin Carina managed to get a zoo pass from her company..me, ying, carina, nancy and teck whye went to the zoo on saturday..it was ok..had lots of fun as usual..

Hello..wow its been a long while since i last entered a post in here..lots of things have happened since my last post..most obvious of all is that it is of course a new year..2007..well..let me give u an update of things..

Well..i got back to Singapore on the 17th of December after over 3 long months in Dubai, UAE, where time actually flew past..

Xmas - On the 22nd of Dec..i went back to Ipoh, Malaysia to see my mummy and my brother, Andrew..then on the 23rd of Dec, my whole family went for a trip to Pangkor..it was great..1st time i went snorkelling, , banana boating and jet skiing..it was so so fun..jet skiing was the best..Drew was a bit scared though holding on to me tight..he he..poor boy..but yup lots of fun as usual..with my family, its always tons of fun..cause everyone is a bit crazy..even the aunties and uncles are very sporting..not those typically uptight type..love them so so much..just a bit sad that my dad wasnt there though..cause he is still working in dubai..but i will get to see him chinese new year..i miss u dad..

New Years Eve - New Years eve, i spent with my friends..some old some new..the day started as usual..with the calls going all around..deciding where to go for the countdown..it was a choice between zouk, butter factory, the clinic and i cant remember where else..in the end we thought we'd go to zouk..so the girls set out there and when we got there..the guys decided that we would go to double O instead..so in Jing hong's car we got and off we went to Double O..the nite was ok..wasnt really that busy..so we finished early, then we headed for supper..we had fish soup..it was really nice..i wanna go there again..

Hello.

Finally its "hari raya" or should i say "eid", thats what they call it over here in the middle east. Yay, i have a few days off..i havent written it here for over a week le..its been a long long week..lets see where to start, remember my eye that was hurting me last week, well, on Monday, it was still hurting so i went back to see the doctors and they admitted me into hospital cause apparently my contacts accidentally cut my cornea right in the middle, therefore it resulted in .."my first time staying in a hospital"..i must really say that it was sooooo boring..i just basically laid there for 3 days, 2 nights, until i begged them to let me out..and after countless injections into my numb arm, 5 bottles of antibiotic pumped into my body and 3 sets of eyedrops 6 times a day, i was finally allowed to go home. i have never been that happy to actually step out into the sunlight. worse then being in jail..anyway, apart from the fact that my vision is still slightly blur, and i'm not allowed to wear contacts for a while..(sigh, i hate glasses), i am much better..wanna say thanks to my friends and family who spent time smsing me to keep me company during those boring hours..only during times like this, i can see who treats me well..thanks.. *muacks*

Anyway, as soon as i got out from the hospital, i got landed another bombshell, and that is that i will be going back to s,pore beginning of nov instead of staying here till b4 xmas..hmm..was quite surprised by this news..cause i already prepared myself fully to stay here, and then all of a sudden heard that i was going back, cause my boss needs me there to work on a new project which i need to travel to China and Japan for..which means not much time here in dubai.. I'm not sure if its good news or not, part of me is looking forward to go back and be with my family and friends again, cause i miss them alot, esp my girls and little baobei. but on the other hand, i have made many connections here and am quite happy here, with my own place and car and a bunch of people who are always there for me when i need, and who can fill my days with alot of joy and laughter..and also my dad..i dont want to leave him here by himself..i will miss him. and everyone else..sigh..i'm really not sure what i want..complicated, arent i.. but hopefully everything will fall into place..sigh, i'm an idiot i know, i should be happy that i have a chance to travel around, but the problem is getting to attached to the place..

Anyway, i am in starbucks now waiting for my dad to come....miss everyone..

Well..its been a few days since my last post..been quite bz..my weekend just flew past, cause i was stuck in bed with a bad eye infection, that is still not quite right..still quite blur in my right eye...i ended up going to the hospital on friday nite cause it was hurting so much, i think i might have accidentally touched my eye after cleaning my apartment with bleach..sigh..i hope i dont go blind...sigh..

My boss arrived from S'pore today..had a long morning with him and my general manager chatting about company stuff..got lots of things to do tomorrow again..but hopefully things will get settled..and i need to talk to him about when i can go home..dont think he will let me go home soon..but i will go back for xmas..to see my mummy and drew..

hehe..Dad bought me PSP this afternoon..early birthday present..so all i need now is a TV...haha..will go get one tomorrow..as well as a cooker and a fridge...so i can start cooking..
i feel like drinking ABC soup..know what that it?? ha ha..nvm..cant wait to get into the kitchen and start cooking..ok..will end here for now..bye bye my friends..miss u heaps..

oh ya..i cant wait for dec..cause Weili is coming to visit me!!! YAY!!!=)

The beaches here are one of the most beautiful in the world.. The other thing that i really like about dubai, is that no matter what, everyday u can see a beautiful sunset..being in the desert where there are not many very tall building..you get to see the sunset everyday...

Another week in Dubai

Its friday today...which is a holiday here in dubai...cause its a day for prayers. Its ramadan period now..which means that all muslims have to fast during the day... but here in dubai, everyone is meant to fast, we are not allowed to drink and eat in public..which is extremely hard cause its so so hot..dunno why, i tend to feel more hungry when i'm not allowed to it..dot usually feel hunger much usually, but when i am not allowed to eat, i always seem to feel hungry..haha..

well..i've been here for over three weeks now..my apartment is still not ready..sigh..the way people do things here are so slow..i was meant to move in about 2 and half weeks ago..but at the moment there is still no electricity or water...the real estate agency has already banked in the deposit and wont give it back to me..so i have no choice but to wait..wait ..wait.. SIAN..hope to move in soon..my car is full with all the stuff i have been buying for the house..people see my full car and ask me if i am actually living in my car..haha..

As i said, its my 3rd week here..some things are slowly improving in the company i work for, while other things are getting worse..i have had a busy busy week, so busy that my good friends in singapore think that i am MIA cause i havent contacted them..but ya..i'm glad this week is over..lots has happened..i had to sack an indian guy from the company as he was found cheating company money on a number of occasions..then so he decided to start calling to threaten me instead..so i got one of my friends friend to use his connections with the police here to settle him for me..so that was settled and then i had problems with the customs bringing our crane in..sigh..anyway..i'm glad everything is over..

Well..i think i will be back in Singapore just b4 xmas..so my dear friends..i will be calling u up for KTV sessions and CLUBBING sessions..he he..miss u all so much..muackzz..
